A Humble Beginning That Sparked a Movement
In 2015, Pastor Ronald and his wife Fiidha listened to a burning call in their hearts—a call to reach lost souls with the message of hope and salvation. With no fancy building or financial support, they began a small fellowship under a tree in a heavily Muslim community in Iganga District, Uganda.
Using a simple water well as a connection point, they shared the love of Christ with those passing by. What started as a small gathering of just five people quickly became a growing family of believers. God’s power began transforming lives, and from those early days under the open sky, Liberty Transformation Ministries Uganda (LTMU) was born.
From a Tree to a Thriving Movement
As lives were changed and the need for deeper discipleship grew, LTMU took steps of faith that led to incredible growth:
- 🏠 Established a fellowship center where believers could worship, learn, and serve together.
- 🌾 Launched women’s transformation programs to empower women spiritually and economically.
- 📚 Trained hundreds of missionaries and church planters who now serve across the nation and beyond.
- 🌍 Expanded into refugee mission fields, reaching vulnerable communities with hope, healing, and practical help.
Where We Are Today
What began as a seed of faith in Iganga is now a growing movement that reaches across borders. LTMU is more than a church—it is a mission-driven, Spirit-filled movement empowering leaders, transforming communities, and spreading the gospel across East Africa.
We believe every soul matters. That’s why we continue to raise leaders, plant churches, serve the poor, and proclaim Christ boldly and compassionately.
