๐Ÿ”ง Welding and Fabrication: Shaping Skills, Building Lives

At Liberty Transformation Ministries Uganda (LTMU), we believe that skills change lives. Our Welding and Fabrication Project is one of the most powerful tools we use to equip vulnerable youth with skills for life and faith. This project not only trains young people in hands-on metalwork but also helps them build confidence, earn a living, and grow in their walk with God.

In Uganda, many youth drop out of school due to poverty. They lack skills and hope. Thatโ€™s where we step in. Through this project, we offer practical training, spiritual guidance, and business mentorship to help them stand on their own feet.

๐Ÿ› ๏ธ What We Teach

Through our welding and fabrication program, young people learn:

  • How to weld and shape metal
  • Making metallic products like beds, windows, and doors
  • Repairing and fabricating metallic items
  • Business and customer care skills
  • Bible study, leadership, and life values

We provide the tools, safety gear, and trainers needed to make sure each student succeedsโ€”both in skill and in spirit.

โœจ Testimony: Emmanuel Mudadiโ€™s Journey

My name is Emmanuel Mudadi. I came to Liberty Transformation Ministries as a vulnerable youth. I had no job, no skills, and no direction. I joined the ministry through their music and skilling programs. They trained me in welding and fabrication, and that changed my life completely. Now I run my own workshop. We make metal doors, beds, and windows. I also train other young people, and while we work, I share the Gospel with them. Today, I have purpose, income, and a ministry.

Emmanuelโ€™s story shows what God can do when people are given the right tools and love. His workshop is now a place of work, learning, and worship.

๐Ÿ”ฅ Why Welding and Fabrication?

Welding and fabrication are highly marketable skills in Uganda. They help our youth:

  • Earn a steady income
  • Support their families
  • Start small businesses
  • Stay away from crime and drugs
  • Grow into leaders and mentors

Our goal is not just to create weldersโ€”but to raise disciple-makers who use their trade to spread the love of Jesus.

๐Ÿ’ก Who Can Join?

We welcome young men and women, especially those who are:

  • Out of school
  • Orphans or from poor families
  • Passionate about learning
  • Open to spiritual growth

Our center is located in Iganga District, but we also work with churches and communities to reach more youth across Uganda.
