At Liberty Transformation Ministries Uganda (LTMU), we believe the youth are not just the futureโ€”they are the present. Thatโ€™s why we invest deeply in raising, training, and equipping young people to grow in faith, leadership, and purpose. Through our youth camps and leadership trainings, we have seen lives changed, hearts healed, and futures shaped by the power of God.

In this article, weโ€™ll share how our youth ministry is transforming lives across Uganda, one young person at a time.

Faith-Filled Camps That Build a Strong Foundation

LTMU youth camps are more than just fun gatherings. These events are life-changing encounters with God. Every year, we bring together hundreds of young people from different regions to worship, learn the Word, and build godly friendships.

During camp, youths take part in:

  • Bible teachings and discussions
  • Praise and worship sessions
  • Personal prayer and healing time
  • Group activities and games
  • Leadership challenges

One 17-year-old, Daniel from eastern Uganda, shared his experience:

โ€œBefore camp, I felt lost and full of anger. But during one of the prayer nights, I gave my life to Jesus. I went back home with a new heart. Now I serve as a youth leader in my church.โ€

These camps are safe spaces for youth to discover who they are in Christ and to find direction for their lives.

Equipping Youth Leaders to Make a Difference

We donโ€™t stop at camp experiences. Our leadership training sessions equip young people to become influencers in their churches, schools, and communities. Through workshops and mentorship, we teach them how to:

  • Lead Bible studies and prayer groups
  • Share the Gospel boldly
  • Make wise decisions
  • Live with integrity and discipline

These sessions are led by trained pastors and youth mentors who understand the challenges young people face. Our goal is to raise a generation of confident, Spirit-filled leaders who stand strong in faith and truth.

Real Stories, Real Change

Sarah, 19, grew up in a broken home and struggled with low self-worth. After joining LTMUโ€™s youth camp and later attending leadership training, her life completely changed.

โ€œI learned that God values me, and I started to believe I could be a leader. Now, I mentor girls in my village and help them find their purpose through Godโ€™s Word.โ€

Another youth, Martin, was once addicted to drugs. After attending camp, he encountered God, was set free, and later became a worship leader in his local church.

โ€œLTMU didnโ€™t just tell me about Jesusโ€”they walked with me until I was strong again.โ€

We Canโ€™t Do It Alone

Our youth programs are transforming hundreds of lives, but we need your help to reach more. Many young people in Uganda still lack access to mentorship, spiritual guidance, and hope. With your support, we can provide more camps, more training, and more opportunities for youth to experience Christ.
